Fashion Week SS17

Happy Sunday ladies…

…and that rounds off our last fashion week of 2016 boooo!

I’m sure I speak for everyone when I say the SS17 collections were phenomenal! Nothing makes me regret last night’s takeaway more than watching those elegant garments strutting down the runway on the most beautiful models. I love everything about fashion week, especially the unique individual designers who showcase the newest trends and most daring looks for our SS17 wardrobes and styling inspiration. Not only does it bring hype and commotion to London but it is also centred around an elaborate celebration of British fashion heritage, which is especially close to my heart as it’s the birthplace of my brand Sian Marie.

So lets take a look at my London Fashion Week highlights…

As a designer I know the importance of showcasing your garments to their best potential, so how’s about putting them on a flawless model with legs to die for, hmmm?

Here’s some of my favourite mega babes that killed the runway!

Miss Baldwin

Hailey Baldwin

Hailey Baldwin wowed the audience in Julian McDonalds statement pieces. Here the super model is showcasing a thigh-skimming embellished sequin coord complete with a tassel-fringed hem. I’m LOVING the nude colour palette combo’d with a hint of shimmer and sparkle – just what every girl needs in their life …Hailey may have possibly been my favourite of fashion week, work it girl!

Miss Hadid

Bella Hadid definitely killed the runway, looking fierce for Versus | Versace SS17 collection. Wearing a black authentic leather jacket (every wardrobe must have!) and a chunky pair of biker boots, she definitely pulled off that chic biker look combo’d with those killer cheekbones and flawless smokey make-up.

Miss Delevingne

Cara Cara D

…& my last but definitely not least babe of fashion week had to be Miss Cara Delevingne, she didn’t strut in the catwalk this fall but she did score top fashion points with her appearance at the hottest ticket in town come fashion week, the SS17 Burberry show. Cara took the LBD to a next level! Teaming the dress with strappy black heels, a high fashion black cape and glowing rose gold makeup. She showed the other models just how it’s done… slayyyyy!

It’s exciting to see so many new trends and styles on the horizon and taking these inspirations into mind for trend forecasting my own future collections… watch this space ladies.

So who was your favorite babe of fashion week? I would love to hear your comments and thoughts!

Stay sassy

Sincerely, Sian
