We have one week left until Christmas… and before we know it NYE will be upon us! So its time to start planning that all-important outfit…
I know from my own friendship groups, that outfit types go from dressy to casual to full-blown festive, all dependent on the person and event they are attending. So I figured a whole post on the matter was definitely in order with some outfits to cover all basis. Take a read at the four styles I have in mind and let me know your thoughts. Can’t want to see which is your favourite!
THE FULL ON GLAM LOOK
GIGI SILK WRAP (RED) / DIAMONTE ACCESSORIES / STRAPPY HEELS
Lets kick off with some Christmas sparkle and glamour, without coating ourselves in tacky sequins!
Of my whole clothing range the Gigi Silk Wrap this has GOT to be my favourite piece. Be sure to feel like a million dollars wearing this dress, the movement is beautiful, and length truly flattering without being too provocative. Its high thigh split brings a youthful element to the piece, which is perfect for any New Years Eve balls or black tie events!
The signature Red colour screams glam and looks beautiful when worn with a soft wave hairstyle and diamanté accessories. Not quite the right colour for you? …The dress is also available in Navy, Charcoal, Silver, Nude and Ivory – so take your pick!
THE DIVA LOOK
NOVA FLARES (CAMEL) / LUNA V-NECK (WHITE) / SHOULDER BAG / HEELS
Some girls may want to go for a total feminine sophistication look…
…and nothing says diva more than some killer flares and a leo combo– not only is this ensemble stylish, its also super comfortable. It could be paired with an assortment of heel styles depending on the party type but I would go for a simple open toe strappy shoe and big chunky necklace to bring the look together. As it happens, I combo’d this look with my Nude Chanel bag wearing it with the sparkly gold chain over my shoulder to add a little more of a Christmassy feel. You’ll be dancing your way into the New Year in this 70’s inspired outfit.
THE CASUAL CHIC LOOK
KOKO JUMPSUIT (DEEP MOCHA) / SUEDE JACKET / HIGH KNEE BOOTS
Combining one of my signature multiway jumpsuits – The Koko – with a suede metal bomber jacket, this outfit is for those who like to keep it smart casual. The girl who isn’t a big fan of heels and dresses and would prefer to doll up an everyday style.
House party sorted and you don’t want to arrive over-dressed?
This choice will still turn some heads but keep you feeling comfortable all night long. Add a little sparkle with some silver accessories to bring the look together – and team with some high knee boots. Sorted!
THE DRESSY LOOK
ALAIA MAXI TUBE (PEACH BLOSSOM) / HEELS
For me this look is the ‘can’t go wrong’ option for NYE.
A fitted dress can be styled in so many ways to make it appropriate for whatever event it is that you’ll be attending. And this isn’t just any old body-con, The dress features a folded tube top, matching fabric choker, lace up details to the back and sexy ankle length fitted skirt.
Here I have teamed this up with some metallic heels, but remember this dress is available in four shades so you can accessorise as you wish: silver ash, deep mocha, peach blossom and nude pearl.
